🔹 2. Room Placement According to Vastu

🔹 3. Plot Shape and Slope

• Square or Rectangular plots are best.

• Slope should be North-East down and South-West up.

• Avoid cut corners or irregular plots unless Vastu remedies are applied.

🔹 4. Windows and Ventilation

• More windows should be in the North and East.

• Ensure cross ventilation for energy flow.

• Avoid large windows in the South-West.

🔹 5. Vastu Tips for Interiors

• Colors:

  • North/East rooms: Light blue, white, green

  • South/West: Earthy tones, light brown

• Avoid clutter in NE corner.

• Mirrors should be on North or East walls only.

• Brahmasthan (center of house) should be open and clean, no heavy furniture.

BRICK CALCULATION FORMULA

 

 Step 1: Calculate Volume of Brickwork

Volume = Length × Height × Thickness (in meters)

 Step 2: Volume of One Brick (with mortar)

Standard Brick Size (with mortar):

Length = 0.2 m  
Width  = 0.1 m  
Height = 0.1 m  
Volume = 0.2 × 0.1 × 0.1 = 0.002 m³

 Step 3: Number of Bricks

Number of Bricks = Volume of Brickwork / Volume of One Brick

 Step 4: Add Wastage

Add 5–10% extra for breakage and wastage:

Total Bricks = Bricks × 1.05 (for 5% wastage)

Example Calculation

Wall Dimensions:

• Length = 5 m

• Height = 3 m

• Thickness = 0.23 m (9-inch wall)

Step 1: Volume of Brickwork

= 5 × 3 × 0.23 = 3.45 m³

Step 2: Volume of One Brick (with mortar)

= 0.2 × 0.1 × 0.1 = 0.002 m³

Step 3: Number of Bricks

= 3.45 / 0.002 = 1725 bricks

Step 4: Add 5% Wastage
